Making Waves with Stevie's Swim in September
On April 19, 2023, the lives of Ari and Gabbi Mitchell were forever changed when their daughter, Stevie Dylan, was tragically stillborn.
In the depths of their grief, Stevie’s Swim was born. Throughout September, Ari is taking on a remarkable challenge to swim 180 kilometres – representing 10 x Chai (18).
Through Stevie’s Swim, Ari and Gabbi are honouring Stevie, opening up the conversation around stillbirth and raising much needed funds to create specific support services for people experiencing fertility-related grief.
Donations in September will fuel the expansion of AJFN’s support offering, making a tangible difference by providing emotional support to those in need on their fertility journeys. Many of these initiatives will honour Stevie’s name.
The AJFN Support Program is close to Gabbi and Ari’s hearts, as recipients of AJFN’s support throughout their IVF journey, pregnancy and Stevie’s loss.
Their hope is that no person goes through fertility grief or loss alone.
Keep following along.
Let’s dive into Stevie’s Swim together.
